Starfish7Mary Kate Leming and her husband Jerry Lower launched The Coastal Star, a Palm Beach County-based community newspaper, in late 2008, after a round of newspaper downsizing. He has launched the Palm Beach Arts Paper, a high-brow, high-quality survey of the local arts community, available by subscription or online at palmbeachartspaper.com

Jan Norris, food editor extraordinaire, sends out daily emails on food and recipes called Appeteasers at www.jannorris.com/.
